Eco Tours.

Wild Side Outdoors were the first to offer visitors guided Eco Tours of the Sunraysia Region's special natural places. Our Eco Tourism Australia Accredited tours are enjoyed by Families, Locals and International Visitors. Our guides create a relaxed atmosphere and provide an informative dialogue about the natural and historic features of the area.
You can join one of our scheduled tours or alternatively organise one to suit your group and your timetable.

Scheduled Tours:-

King's Billabong Sunset Paddling Tour - The historic King's Billabong Nature Reserve is the heart of Mildura's irrigation system and a delightful area in which to Canoe or Kayak. This wetland supports a wide range of bird and animal life. An interesting paddle at any time of the year the features include turtles, ibis & cormorant rookeries, feeding fish and a variety of resident and migratory birds as well as the historic Psyche Pumps.
Enjoy the area's best paddling at the best time of the day!

Adults - $30; Children Under 16 - $10.
Tour duration - 2 hours.
Time - Dependent on the time of year.

Hattah - Kulkyne Drive, Walk and Talk Tour - Even though it is only an easy 45minute drive from Mildura, few visitors realise what a fantastic place the Hattah - Kulkyne National Park is. This unique lakes system, fed by the Chalka Creek coming off the Murray River, has a rich natural and human history. Features include the Warepril Lookout, Visitor Information Centre, Aboriginal sites (including scarred trees & midden sites), abundant wildlife and a diverse landscape.
A visit to this International Biosphere Reserve is a must!

Adults - $80; Children Under 16 - $30.
Tour duration - Full day.
Time - 9am - 3pm.

Both tours require a minimum of 4 people.
Tours departures are by arrangment.
