The Murray Mallee Country around Mildura is a haven for tourists. The region has many natural attractions with the landscape ranging from the mighty Murray and Darling Rivers lined with majestic river red gums to the sand dune country of the mallee where undulating dunes stretch as far as the eye can see. The area is filled with an abundance of wildlife, from kangaroos and emus through to the rare and endangered mallee fowl.
Magnificent Parks mark the significance of the area each with it's own rich natural and cultural history.
Hattah - Kulkyne National Park with it's unique Lakes system and Murray Sunset National Park that extends way across to the South Australian border.
A visit to the Lake Mungo World Heritage Area provides the opportunity to travel back to a time when the
landscape was remarkably different.
The historic King's Billabong Nature Resereve, the heart of Mildura's Irrigation system and a fascinating wetland that offers some of the best and most easily accessible Canoeing, Kayaking and Mountain Bike country in the district.
We offer Canoe, Kayak & Mountain Bike Hire and a range of Eco Tours so that you and your Family and/or Friends can experience much of the natural beauty of the area whether it be paddling off the beach at Apex Park, enjoying a holiday on a houseboat or enjoying a beautiful sunset on King's Billabong.

Canoe, Kayak & Bike Hire.

Available for short or long term hire, our Canoes, Kayaks or Mountain Bikes enable you to get out and explore the region's magnificent natural areas. Paddle the mighty rivers and their adjacent creeks and back waters or ride some of the many tracks that network across the floodplain. We can advise you about some great places to go whether you be a Family looking to have fun or perhaps a keen observer of birdlife. Canoes & kayaks add another dimension to a houseboat holiday!
We have a drop and pick up service (FREE in the Mildura area!) so you do not have to worry about carrying the equipment. All you have to do is arrange with us a time and place and your set to go!
The Canoes seat two passengers and have a large storage space in the middle making them ideal for overnight or extended tours. They are very stable and great to paddle all year round.
The Double Kayaks are a versatile boat that can be paddled as a double or a single (they have adjustable seating). They are a very stable boat and although suitable for all levels of skill are ideal for children and beginners.
The Single Kayaks are good fun to paddle requiring more balance and control and are more suited to experienced paddlers.
Canoe & kayak hire includes Buoyancy vests and paddles.
Mountain bikes are suitable for children aged 10 and above through to adults. All bikes hired come with a helmet and lock.

Extended Tours & Hire

May of the region's natural areas require more than a day to really experience their beauty and tranquility.
We can supply most of the equipment (find out about Equipment Hire Rates for extended tours) you need to complete extended canoe or bushwalking tours and can provide advice about some great tours to complete. We also provide a drop off and pick up service and secure vehicle storage.

Some of the many possible tours are:-
Along the Murray from Wemen to Colignan - This 3 day paddle takes in one of the most picturesque sections of the Murray River. With the Hattah - Kulkyne National Park bordering on the river during most of the journey, you can experience spectacular scenery and abundant wildlife with some of the best camping available on the many sandbars that line the river.
Walpolla Creek - Starting at Lock 9, this tour takes you into the Walpolla Creek network. Spend up from 2 to 4 days (depending on water levels) exploring the creeks and enjoy some relaxed back country camping.
Hattah - Lakes - The Chalka Creek and the lakes of the Hattah - Kulkyne Naional Park provide the opportunity for some unique paddling and camping. When the water levels are suitable, paddling through this area is an opportunity not to be missed.
